House Model - The Cranford (5 bed)
Development - Robinson Fields, North Tyneside
Bio - Sue and Lee, their two children and Albie the labradoodle, who pops up in almost every photo!
Editors Note - Sue and Lee chose a Story Homes Cranford at Robinson Fields in North Tyneside, and it ticked every box. The big open-plan kitchen, dining and family space at the back, with bi-fold doors straight out to the garden, is the heart of the house, and Sue says "the master bedroom with its dressing area and en-suite is a dream".
Inside it's warm and calm: cashmere shaker units, Amtico Mulled Oak flooring running through downstairs, soft creams and taupes, and one big hit of colour from the olive green Dusk sofa. Sue has shared where almost everything is from, so there's lots here to borrow.

Ideas to Borrow for a New Build
Run one floor through downstairs. The same Mulled Oak LVT in the hall, kitchen and family room makes the open plan feel even bigger.
Zone the open plan. A rug and a slatted oak wall give the sofa corner its own snug feel without losing the light from the bi-folds.
Pick one statement colour. Against creams and taupes, the olive sofa does all the work.
Dress the front door. A seasonal wreath is the quickest kerb appeal win there is.
Make it personal. A map print of your own area is a lovely first piece of art for a new home.
